Learn algo trading

Algorithmic trading has a reputation for being complicated, and most of that reputation is unearned. The core of it fits in one sentence: you write down your trading rules precisely, test them against history and live markets, and only then let software execute them through your own broker account. Everything else — indicators, backtests, Monte Carlo runs, risk limits — is detail in service of that loop.

This page collects everything we have written to teach it properly, in the order a beginner should read it. Start with the complete guide for the full picture, keep the glossary open in another tab for unfamiliar terms, and go deeper with the topic guides as each stage of the workflow becomes relevant to you. When you are ready to choose tools, the round-ups and comparisons apply the same criteria to the whole Indian market — including to our own product.

Everything here is free, educational and not investment advice. Trading carries market risk, automated or not.

The fastest way to learn is to test an idea.
